Hello again!

Who knew there'd come a time I'd post twice a day? But it's meme time (my first meme yay!) and since I don't know the meaning of the word 'concise' this morphed into it's own little post. Oh well...

I'm stealing this fromfluffyfrolicker(who stole it herself, you know how these things work!), but I'll be doing the female version. Because girls are best ;)

10. Velma Kelly (Catherine Zeta-Jones)



Catherine Zeta-Jones is always rather dashing, but what really does it for me in this movie is the hair. She wears it to perfection and it magnifies her whole performances. Her character is so vivid and sharp, I can never take my eyes of her. There is that masculine confidence mixed with the shameless sex-appeal that makes her incredibly attractive to me. Ugh, just look at that :





9. Lucy Harmon (Liv Tyler)



So I haven't actually seen this movie. I just keep watching clips, thinking that I really should because damn. Yeah, so Liv Tyler. What can I say, she's my type? But even if she wasn't - that vulnerable face of hers is simply unreal. And when she awkwardly licks a mirror? I die a little inside. Observe.





8. Layla (Danielle Panabaker)



Sky High is the actual worst. The first time I watched it, I hated the movie. And everytime after that. But Danielle Panaber (also Steven Straight tbf) made me watch it again and again and again. I don't know what it is about her, but yeah. She has great hair. There is something incredibly doll-like about her. And apparently I dig that? :) Yup, aesthetically I find her to be extremely pleasing.



7. Drusilla (Juliet Landau)



Oh Drusilla, please let me worship you. (I'm not above begging.) Her beauty is so romantic there is no way that wouldn't speak to me. And by that I mean of course that I want to grovel at her feet and take my punishment like a good girl.

Drusilla knows she's worth it. Yup.

6. Karaba (Kirikou et la sorcière)



So there are a lot of anime characters I'm attracted to? The first time I realized this (at the cinema, oops) I was quite shocked, because you know, that's not right. Right? Except who cares. Besides, people who dislike creeping should probably work on making their drawings less hot (ahem, Miyazaki). There. Anyway, I rewwatched Kirikou a few days back (and omg best movie eveeeer) and shit is Karaba a goddess or what? I cannot even, guys. Her hair (sorry, I'm like that), her breasts, her presence, her fucking waist to hips ratio, her flawless face. Everything, basically. And she's also responsible for the scene that never failed to turned my child-self on (without me ~consciously realizing at that point, but still). This gif was sped up and there isn't the awesome music and the hottest voices of all male voices (this has haunted me until now, wtf were you thinking Michel Ocelot), but to give you an idea :





5. Anita (Rita Moreno)



I love musicals. But West Side Story is easily my favorite musical ever. (Not that it doesn't have strong competition, mind you.) Anita and Bernardo have to be one of my favorite couple of all times and if I had to pick to characters for a threesome it'd be them, no thinking necessary. Although, maybe I'd rather watch than be the third wheel? Whatever really, they're hot as hell, both of them. But for the purpose of this meme, let's forget about him.

Rita Moreno is stunning. She has it all, the looks, the charm, the fire, the vulnerability, the moves, the comedic timing, the dramatic depth... (Ugh, how does she exist.) I love her. For all the stereotypes Anita's character is made of, Rita makes her come to live. Her performance is vibrant and nuanced and all things beautiful. I could watch her all day.





4. Wanda Woodward (Tracy Lords)



I will never get over Cry-Baby. Ever. And I will also never get bored of oogling Tracy Lords in her Wanda role. Seriously, she's smoking. Eveything about this character is flawless. And her cold attitude wins all. She's not sorry for you, she's not here to please you, she dresses for herself, maybe because she likes power, maybe, but it doesn't change the unpleasant truth : she doesn't owe you a fucking thing.



Sigh. Be mine, Wanda.



3. Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera)



My Queen. Naya/Santana are the reason I didn't give up on Glee's second season. And the reason why it was so hard for me to stop watching the outraging awfulness of season three (I figure I should be mad about that?). This girl lights up my screen. The way she talks, walks, sings, cries, laughs, dances, eye-rolls, flirts, scheemes, side-eyes... Everything she does is mesmerizing to me. (I am smitten, okay?) No but really. Look at her faaaace...



And there was that one time she danced with a chair? Fucking engraved in my brain.





2. Junie (Léa Seydoux)



Ugghh this movie. It hurts, okay? It's called La Belle Personne (The Beautiful Person) and it could not have been more fitting. I'm not particularly fond of Léa Seydoux in blond, but as a brunette? My creys. I have no words okay. Her beauty isn't what I'd call classic, especially not by Hollywood standards, but she is eerily gorgeous. So vulnerable and soft. But also not kind? (Shit, now I'm getting book/movie feelings all over again.) There is something timeless, both young and old about her characterization and it's absolutely hypnotic to me.



And everytime I get to that one scene my thoughts are reduced to 'boobs, stomach, smooth, boobs, so soft, can I touch please, white, shirt, so cold, so warm, fuck'. Basically.






1. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel)



Eeek, I know this isn't a picture from the show, her hair looks way too stylish and the make-up red-carpet-ish (also the earrings). But. She is just as stunning on the show and despite all my browsing I didn't manage to find a good (still) portrait yet. Plus this one is still nice, so. (Okay, enough with the justifying.)

Emily Deschanel, you unreal creature... I cannot with this woman. How does her face work, please explain it to me. Her flawlessness leaves me without words, but seriously I am a fool for her. (She has amazing hair. How surprising.)



Everything about her is gorgeous. Her body is pretty much perfect. Just everything, okay? Look, look, look! I mean, what is that cleavage even?



I cannot do her justice, to be honest.

Also, Temperance Brennan has to be one of my favorite television characters ever. So empowering and surprisingly relatable and fucking beautiful in every sense of the word. She's a stunning representation of feminity and womanhood and just yeah. (Ugh, strong feelings I have them.)

Sonya Tayeh



Oh Sonya. Please marry me.

Every time she is on my screen I am a blabbering mess. She's a superior being with great, great hair and she should choreograph all things please. Also her face. I mean, really. And her smile. Just. She has no flaw. That's right.





Alicia Keys



I'm not even going to pretend : braids, braids, braaaids. I could stare at Alicia all day, because she has that kind of face. But. I will forever mourn her braid!era because that made her superior to all. She wore these looks with such simple refinement (does that make sense to anybody?) and proved over and over and over again how sophisticated natural!hair can look. And so sexy. But also classy as hell. Ugh.



Negl I am dying of envy whenever I go through old pictures of her, because I simply cannot do this with my hair and I so, so wish I could. Aliciaaa, bring back your braids!





Christina Aguilera



I have a weird relationship with pop-music. It's not that I don't listen to it, because I do. But usually I don't get very attached? Of course there are always a few exceptions, and (surprise, surprise!) Christina is one of them. I don't always like everything she does. But when I do, I love with a passion. Some of her songs I don't think I will never get over. I enjoy the hell out of her persona, most of the time. So yeah, I'm kind of in love with her? And yep, she's gorgeous as hell. I think she's hot when she's thin, when she dyes her hair black (please bring it back!), when her skin is too tanned and when she doesn't starve herself to death because of her video shoot.

I could care less about Your Body, which is as generic as can get, but the video basically killed me. I love acid candy colors, so the whole look of it won me over at first sight. Also the humor. Seriously, I was dying.



But dear Lord, how hot is she in the video? I cannot. She's so confident with her body and it's a thing of beauty really, because she has every right to be. That woman is drop dead gorgeous. Also that dress, what even.





Aïssa Maïga



Um, is there anybody on this planet that's more beautiful than this woman? I think not. I mean just fucking look at her. That grace. It's unbelievable. So gorgeous. And fuck what is that hairdo even? I cannot you guys, I cannot. Help. me. breathe.



And her skin. Ohmygod. I know I am biased and all, but it's just absurd to me how anybody wouldn't want to worship the ground at her probably gorgeous (just ignore me) feet. Just. So beautiful. I'm obviously not good with words today, but (eloquent) people should be writing poetry about this woman.



And this is a thing that happened (omg omg) :

She did a conference on natural hair care!??!! Ahhhhhh. Be more perfect, I dare youuu. And she does this while sporting the most gorgeous cloth-do (how would you call this?) and omg I have no words. *hyperventilates*
